They have already a significant advantage over other similar project, because they are integrated and a part of Kik application, which is already very popular and used by many people, therefore they will automatically get many users to this platform as well.
Social media apps has a great competition between them and are mostly ruled by one company, it will be hard to beat them, but they have a chance to stay significant. They will use the blockchain so all the concerns when it comes to anonymity and our information being used by companies is solved as it will all be transparent.
Normally I would say that it's another wannabe social media app or another messenger, and in fact it is. But it introduces the blockchain technology and transparency in social communication with already well established app. They will integrate Kik, which is already used by millions of people to communicate, therefore they blockchain platform will instantly be used by many people. I can see a great potential in it, with already integrated wallet in a popular messaging app.
